Teen On-Camera Acting - Ages 13-16 Years Old

TEEN ON-CAMERA ACTING:

Learn and practice "real world" acting techniques, all designed to help you audition like a pro, get callbacks and book roles. We begin each class with a warm up exercize, and then focus on all the following skills: 

Auditioning for Film/TV, Blocking, Being Screened Properly, Emotional and Character Development, Using Props, Scene Study, Acting for Commercials/Infomercials, Testimonial Delivery, Slating, Bios, Being Re-Directed in a Scene, Following Directors Lead, Preparing a Performance Multiple Ways, Building Stage Presence, Voice Overs, Hosting Skills, Monologues, Dramatic and Comedic Performance Development, Memorization Techniques, and Much More. 

Each class is filmed and the actor will see her/himself on tape and be able to grow faster with immediate and honest feedback. Each class has materials prepared that are age appropriate and designed to teach and grow talent based upon their individual experience, skill set and career goals. Tailored for ages 13-16.

Meet the Instructor: Jason Anderson

Jason Anderson is a professional actor and model who, in the last two years, has enjoyed considerable success working with clients such as Remington, Pet Supermarket, Walmart, George Foreman Grill, and Disney. He has also acquired valuable training via Lori Wyman's on camera workshops, Marc Macaulay's cold read workshops, "Hypnosis for Actors" with Jessica Roberts, classes as a Master Actor at the Burt Reynolds Institute for Film and Theatre, as well as ongoing one on one coaching with Marjorie Morhaim.

Jason holds a degree from Northwestern University in Communications. He also has a Masters of Divinity from Knox Theological Seminary. Jason has seven years of experience of working with children at Place of Hope.

He is a father of three children who are enjoying success as young actors and models, Jason has also gained valuable insight with regard to the casting, audition, and on the job experience for young people and their parents. Jason has a passion for helping others who dream of acting and modeling to navigate their way through the process successfully.
